Concrete Driveway and Sidewalk Cleaning in East Point, GA
East Point, GA

What we found and what we did
Pressure-washed a concrete driveway, sidewalk, and screened porch floor at a residential property in East Point, GA. The job ran about 4.5 hours on site, which makes sense given the scope: the driveway alone covered multiple sections including a side run, a rear alley stretch, and a pad near the garage. The before shots tell the story well — flat grey film, dark tire-traffic shadow lines, and the kind of organic buildup that accumulates when Georgia humidity gets into unsealed concrete year after year.
We worked through the driveway in sections using a flat-surface cleaner, which keeps the pressure even across the slab and avoids the striping you get from a single wand tip. The side driveway and rear sections had heavier buildup and needed a second pass. The concrete walkway and sidewalk got the same treatment: surface cleaner across the main run, then a wand rinse along the edges where the cleaner couldn't reach flush to the lawn line.
The screened porch floor was a different surface entirely. The photos show a mosaic-style tile floor, so we dropped the pressure and used a wider tip to clear the grime without disturbing the grout lines. Mosaic tile holds dirt differently than poured concrete — it collects in the texture between tiles and along grout channels — so we let the chemistry do more of the work and kept the rinse deliberate.
The after shots across the driveway show the concrete returned to a consistent, even tone. The grey film and tire shadow lines are gone. For East Point properties with older concrete like this one, a penetrating silane-siloxane sealer is worth considering after a wash like this. It won't change how the concrete looks, but it slows the next round of buildup and makes future cleanings faster.
